While podcasting at sites like Youtube can be quite effective nothing beats live feeds, for reaching your audience. I currently broadcast at 3 different sites. The one I use the most is nowlive.com. I reach anywhere between 1 - 8000 live listeners while doing shows on this network. It is quite effective in bringing listeners into the show where a live chat is available.
If you, have not tried live feed broadcasting I encourage you to do so.
